A totally weird gem

I received this message this morning from a friend who's doing some traveling in India:

"You are not going to believe this. My second day in Delhi, I took the new metro and had to change lines at a major station, tons of people, and bumped directly into Suzy-Q Mutual Friend*!!! What are the odds? There are about 14 million people in Delhi!"

Indeed, there are times when I love this crazy old world.

*not her real name.

  1. Ha! How weird! Once, on a trip several states away, we attended a "seal show" at a small Aquarium. the auditorium would've seated about 50 people. And sitting just across from us was a girl I went to primary (elementary?) school with AND in another spot was the couple that owned the small mini-mart at the end of our street! Not 14 million people, but still, what are the odds?!
